It’s said to only be a 20- to 30-minute hike to reach the peak, which is around 200m to 300m above sea level. But it can be pretty steep, with ropes to hold onto, at some parts.
Once you reach the top, there’s a walkway along the cliff’s edge, where you can take in the view.
According to some visitors, if you hike from the beach, it may take longer as the route is more challenging as opposed to the route from the back of the hill.
You can also stroll along the beach itself, and explore the unique rock structures that form small caves.
Bukit Keluang Beach Resort is in the area, so you can bunk there for the night, before heading to the hill early in the morning or in the evening to catch the sunset.
At the foot of the hill, there’s a parking area, stalls, public restrooms, huts to relax at, and other activities to do.
