According to a post on a Facebook page called ‘PenangKu Viral’, the woman from Sungai Ara, George Town, had checked into the hospital on the mainland at 11am after there were signs that labour was imminent. There was no mention of the day on which the incident occurred.
About an hour and a half later, a doctor came to check on her and found that her cervix was only dilated to 2cm. Following which, at 3.15pm, the woman was told to go home as the hospital told her that she was not going into labour.
However, the woman and her husband pleaded with the hospital staff to let them stay as they stay quite a distance away from the hospital. The hospital disregarded their pleas and sent them away.
