Tucked away in a shoplot in Belakang Pekan Pumpong is a small museum called Top Fast Food Collections that opened several weeks ago, housing memorabilia from McDonald’s outlets all around the world.

Lee Jain Wen and his 62-year-old father, Lee Choon Chiek, told Sinar Harian that they have been collecting McDonald’s items from around the world for years. His dad started his collection in 1978 when he was just 17.

There are 40,000 McDonald’s products in the museum, while another 30,000 items are in their home due to the lack of space.

Twitter user @neyrashazerya paid their museum a visit and shared photos in a recent Twitter thread that has gone viral.

Even the kapcai that was used back in the day for deliveries can be seen sitting just outside the entrance.

Some of them include a limited edition 1982 Coca-Cola can made of steel; the world’s first Happy Meal box released in the US; and previous Happy Meal toys like Power Rangers, Hello Kitty, and Snoopy collectibles, among others.

If you’re heading to Alor Setar, be sure to drop by this place to enjoy a bit of childhood nostalgia!
