The Game Awards 2020 is now behind us, and we have the list of winners for all the categories, including the Game of the Year 2020. To no one’s surprise, The Last of Us Part II claimed the lion’s share of awards.
In addition to the Game of the Year award, TLoU2 also won the awards for best game direction, narrative and audio design, among. It also took the prize for best action/adventure game, performance, and innovation in accessibility. That last one, despite everything else, is well deserved.

It’s worth a reminder here that, beyond that last category of Player’s Voice, the other categories are mostly decided by critics. In fact, the voting weight for critics is at 90% while the public’s vote is only worth 10%. But for Player’s Choice, it’s 100% on gamers.
