FORMER Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) CEO Datuk Seri Mohammed Shazalli Ramly will return to the corporate sector upon his appointment as the new group MD of Boustead Holdings Berhad beginning Dec 1.
Shazalli is replacing Datuk Seri Amrin Awalluddin whose contract expired on Nov 15.
“We are confident that with Datuk Sri Mohammed Shazalli’s notable professional experience and proven track record in corporate transformation and performance management, his leadership for the Group will be able to steer Boustead to new heights,” Boustead’s chairman Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said in a statement today.
Shazalli resigned from his post at TM following the outcome of the 14th general election in May 2018.
He had also served as the CEO of Celcom Axiata Bhd from 2005 to 2016.
