Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin And Health director-general Hisham have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine

They received their shots at the Putrajaya Health Clinic today, 24 February, at the launch of the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme.

Four Ministry of Health staff members also received the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine at the launch

The process was administered by nurses from the Putrajaya Health Clinic. Before being vaccinated, the six of them were briefed and made to sign a consent form.

Health Minister Dr Adham Baba as well as Science, Technology, and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin were present at the event.
