Late last month, the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G was spotted in TENAA litsings. Now, the company has officially announced the device, as well as the base Reno5 5G.
The OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G comes with a 6.55-inch OLED Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180 Hz touch sampling rate. It also has a fingerprint sensor embedded underneath. On the inside, it has a MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus chipset, a 4300mAh battery with support for 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging.
For cameras, it has a 64MP main shooter, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and two 2MP modules. In front, it has a 32MP camera in a punch hole cutout in the top left corner.
As for the OPPO Reno5 5G, it is mostly similar to the Pro model, with only a few differences. To start, the screen is slightly smaller, at 6.43 inches, but it has the same resolution, refresh and sampling rates. The chipset here is instead a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, but the battery is the same.
The cameras are the same as well, at the back as well as in front. Another difference is that the base model has a 3.5mm audio jack. But this comes at a cost, with it losing the NFC that the Pro model has.
Both the OPPO Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G come with two RAM and storage configurations. They are 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. For the base model, these are priced at CNY2700 (~RM1675) and CNY3000 (~RM1861), respectively. As for the Pro model, this goes up to CNY3400 (~RM2109) and CNY3800 (~RM2357), respectively. Both are available for pre-order in China from JD.com. But no word on their price and availability on our shores just yet.
