In a second heavy vehicle pile-up in Klang Valley this week, a lorry lost control and crashed into seven vehicles on Thursday, 9 September
According to Harian Metro, the accident occurred at 6.20pm at a traffic light junction at Persiaran Bukit Rahman Putra 1, Sungai Buloh.
Sungai Buloh district police chief Supt Shafa’aton Abu Bakar said the lorry driver is believed to have lost control of the vehicle when going down a bend on the road due to faulty brakes.
The lorry crashed into three cars, including a Honda Jazz, a Perodua Myvi, and a Perodua Axia, a four-wheel drive vehicle, two vans, and a crane lorry that were stopped at a red light.

According to photos and videos by witnesses on social media, the vehicles were badly damaged
A white Perodua Axia looked as if it took full force of the crash.
The Star reported that all the victims, aged between 35 and 57, escaped uninjured.

The police chief said the 35-year-old lorry driver is currently under investigation
He added that a urine test will be carried out to determine if he was driving under the influence of drugs.
The case will be investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
