Spread across two levels in Tropicana Gardens Mall, the outlet features new sections, such as CosmeDONKI, a yatai food court, and a fully certified halal area.
CosmeDONKI is a Japanese cosmetic shop that sells Japan’s bestsellers of high-quality health and beauty products, while yatai is a food kiosk section, where shoppers can enjoy Japanese street food.
1. Aisles and aisles stacked with all kinds of Japanese snacks, from mochi to almost every KitKat flavour under the sun
2. There’s an endless amount of Japanese beauty supplies at the new section called ‘CosmeDONKI’
3. Another new feature is the halal food section, which has everything from ramen and snacks, to frozen foods and other ingredients
4. There’s an area where you can find an array of halal-certified Wagyu cuts, fresh salmon, and side dishes
5. Another section is dedicated to fresh veggies, fruits, and juices known as the ‘Furu Furu’ corner — the first one to be introduced in Malaysia after Singapore
Some of the fruits you’ll find here include strawberries from Fukuoka and Saga prefectures, among other fresh seasonal fruits from Japan.
6. Grab a bite from the yatai food court before you go. They have booths selling popular Japanese street food, including takoyaki and ikayaki.
There are also 170 seats for you to dine at after you’ve purchased your food.
