Barisan Nasional (BN) has unveiled its candidates contesting at 161 parliamentary seats for the 15th General Election (GE15)
The candidates were announced by BN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi last night, 1 November.

Among the major candidates that were announced include caretaker Health Minister and former Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin for Sungai Buloh; former Negeri Sembilan menteri besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Hassan for Rembau; and caretaker Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz for Kuala Selangor.
Others include Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani for Titiwangsa; Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki in Gerik; and Datuk Razali Ibrahim, who will be taking on former prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in Pagoh.
A few notable names that were dropped from BN’s GE15 line-up include former Pasir Salak MP Datuk Tajuddin Abdul Rahman; former Ketereh MP Tan Sri Annuar Musa; former Arau MP Shahidan Kassim; former Tenggara MP Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba; former Padang Besar MP Datuk Zahidi Zainul Abidin, and former Kota Tinggi MP Datuk Halimah Sadique.
