But one online shopper seems to be unfazed at going against social norms.
For the greater good of the BDSM community in Malaysia, they uploaded photos of themself in a bondage suit in a review on Shopee to let other prospective buyers know more about the product.
The product in question is ‘Patent Leather Full-wrap Leaking Nose Clothes Fetish Bondage Belt for Adult’.
According to vendor fighting.my, the product is made from patent leather — a type of material that has a high-gloss finish.
Shopee’s records show that the product has been sold 11 times and has three ratings, all of which are five stars.

“Finally the package has arrived even though it took a while. Quality and satisfying products,” the customer wrote in a product review, dated 16 December 2019.
“I hope your service will improve in the future. Thank you so much dear kind seller.”
Photos uploaded by the user show a person — who is believed to be the customer — sitting on a bed while wearing the bondage suit. They seem to be tied up by six belts that come together with the product.
In another photo, a close-up shot of the wearer’s head shows that the suit comes with two small openings near the nose. It is likely there to allow the wearer to breathe.
