The boy is believed to be one of the victims who had drowned following a mud flooding incident at the Bobby Eco Camp resort compound on Saturday night, 18 December.

His remains were recovered at about 10.30am today, 22 December.

According to Bentong Fire and Rescue Station chief Mohd Zamri Abdul Ghani, the body was caught in a pile of wood at the edge of the forest near the Karak Highway heading to Kuala Lumpur.

“We found the body at KM66.2,” he was quoted as saying.

The second victim, 66-year-old Yap Koon Lan, was found buried underneath a pile of logs and sand.

According to New Straits Times, Yap along with two others, a male adult and six-year-old Chang, had been reported missing since the incident on Saturday.

The last victim is the owner of the chalet, Bobby Lim Yoke Hoong.

Two tracker dogs are assisting in the SAR operations, according to Mohd Zamri.
