A Perodua Alza driver was thrown out of his car after being hit by a vehicle at the Taman Kosas traffic light intersection on Tuesday, 25 October
According to Sinar Harian, Ampang Jaya district police chief ACP Mohamad Farouk Eshak said the incident happened at around 11.50pm.
The accident occurred when a Proton Waja hit the side of the victim’s car when he was making a right turn at an intersection into Bandar Baru Ampang.
Mohamad Farouk also confirmed the 32-year-old victim died while receiving treatment at the hospital on the following day, at 7am.
“Both male drivers suffered serious injuries before being rushed to Ampang Hospital,” he said in a statement on Wednesday, 26 October.
The tire got unplugged from the car due to the horrific accident.

The accident was caused due to the negligence of one of the drivers who failed to obey the red traffic light, Farouk said
“The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987,” he said.
Farouk also urged anyone who witnessed the accident to come forward with information to help with the investigation.
