The entrance, which looks like something out of a Peter Rabbit storybook, appears as just another house along Jalan Jugra.
But as you enter, it opens up into this picturesque escape away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Like many businesses during this pandemic, the school was forced to shut down two of their locations prior to this pivot.
In an attempt to start anew earlier this year, they moved to rent a space with Sekeping Jugra in this quiet residential area in KL, but have only started operating recently due to Movement Control Order (MCO) restrictions.
Since it’s also an academy run by barista instructors, they don’t see themselves as a conventional cafe but as more of a quiet retreat for those who enjoy coffee.
“We have people challenging us to make them coffee just they way they like it. We welcome that with wide open arms. Coffee is an individualised beverage,” they shared with SAYS.
They also serve salmon, duck, and vegetarian quiches, among other yummies.
You can grab your cup to go or chill at one of their open-air tables.
