In a statement, they wrote that upgrading and maintenance of critical assets at the water treatment plant were completed around 5am today, 14 October.
They noted in their statement that water had already been channelled into distribution systems. Meanwhile, the supply to consumers will be distributed in stages starting from 5pm today.
However, the duration of disruption and restoration of water supply will vary depending on the location of a consumer’s premises and the water pressure in the distribution systems.
In their statement, they also assured that they will continue to mobilise alternative water supply to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres, COVID-19 quarantine and treatment centres, and vaccination centres.
