1. Hello, Patricia KL

Tucked away in a clubhouse condominium is this new, charming cafe that’s like a hidden sanctuary. There’s a little garden area and indoor seating with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing plenty of sunlight in. They offer a selection of desserts, like lemon poppy seed and banana cakes, as well as matcha and coffee.

2. Old Hands Cafeteria

Hailing from Shizuoka is a couple, Mr and Mrs Okamoto, who opened this Japanese bakery cafe with friends. Their specialities include Japanese pastries and desserts, such as red bean mochi and sultana raisin almond buns.

They also sell a variety of Japanese unsweetened drinks, including matcha, genmaicha, and hojicha lattes that pair well with their yuzu cheesecake and Nama chocolate.

3. broom Artisan Bakery & Kitchen

broom has earned itself a name as one of the latest breakfast and brunch spots in Taman Paramount. They serve everything from fresh sourdough to croissants, and other yummy pastries. An aesthetic spot to chill with a date or friends.

4. Yue Coffee Bar

Yue Coffee Bar is like entering a cosy kampung house with lots of nostalgic vibes. Kinda like visiting an old grandma’s home. Some of what they offer includes coffee, cake, rojak, as well as cold, refreshing bottles of craft beer for a hot afternoon.

You might even spot cats wandering around the house, giving off that true kampung feel.

Founded by The Roast Things Coffee Roaster, Neutrals.ttdi has a simple yet beautiful aesthetic with its concrete walls and plants everywhere. They serve Sunbather’s signature sandos that are said to be pretty substantial, as well as bentos, scones, and more.

7. JAR Coffee

Church mates, Abel and Roy, opened up this cafe together, combining their coffee-making skills and cooking background. To enter the cafe, look for the door disguised as a petrol pump unit.

They serve various fusion dishes like toast topped with smoked salmon, avocado, and poached eggs, as well as pies and other yummies.

11. V88 Cafe & Bar / Vintage 1988

Vintage 88, also known as V88, just opened its second outlet in Desa ParkCity, where you can enjoy your meals and coffee while overlooking the lake and park. They offer plenty of options, including their signature beetroot bun burgers, onde onde cake, tiramisu, and cocktails.
