The enhanced movement control order (EMCO) which was imposed on the Top Glove Bhd (Top Glove) dormitories in Klang will be extended for a period of two weeks starting tomorrow.
Senior Ministry (Security Cluster) Tan Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the EMCO will last until Dec 14 due to the high infectivity rate in the area.
“There are still new positive cases being identified via the second screening test.
“The Health Ministry has also found that the negative cases within this cluster are still at high risk and thus will be monitored closely,” he said at the daily RMCO update.
Meanwhile, the police has detained 741 individuals in total for breaching standard operating procedures (SOPs).
