DEWAN Rakyat has passed the allocation for Prime Minister’s Department after a bloc vote today.
The allocation was passed with 105 voted in favour, 95 opposition and 20 MPs were absent during the session.
Among those who were absent were Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Razak, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Tengku Tan Sri Razaleigh Hamzah and all eight MPs from Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan).
Under the Budget 2021, allocation for the PM Department was increased from RM7.9 billion this year to RM11.7 billion.
Today’s sitting will be extended until 4pm.
