MALAYSIA recorded 1,315 new Covid-19 positive cases bringing the current active cases to 11,508.
Out of the new cases today, five were imported.
476 new cases were reported in Sabah making it the state with the highest cases today.
There are four new deaths, increasing the number of deaths to 354.
Up to 1,110 patients have recovered and discharged.
Meanwhile six new Covid-19 clusters were detected as of today, with four in Sabah and one each in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, Health DG Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.
The new clusters in Sabah are the PTS Sibuga Cluster, Jesselton Construction Site Cluster, Dermaga Cluster and Tempasuk Cluster.
“This takes the total number of active clusters being monitored to 180. Of the total, 44 clusters reported increased number of cases,” he said in a statement.
