The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is looking for a man — who witnessed a husband beat up his pregnant wife on 4 May — to assist in investigations regarding the case

Johor Bahru Selatan district police chief ACP Mohd Padzli Mohd Zain said that the 38-year-old man, Rosmaini Abd Raof, worked as a trader, reported Bernama.

Further investigations disclosed that Rosmaini used to reside at the Perumahan Polis Taman Derga Jaya in Alor Setar, Kedah.

The domestic violence incident witnessed by Rosmaini involved a man who had allegedly beaten up his 43-year-old wife on 4 May

According to Kosmo!, the woman is fighting for her life in the intensive care unit (ICU) at Sultanah Aminah Hospital, Johor Bahru.

It was reported that the woman — who is four weeks pregnant — had serious injuries in her head, and suffered from broken ribs, jaw, and back.

The victim’s sister was quoted saying by Kosmo! that she had been brought and admitted to the hospital by her husband.

It is believed that the incident had taken place while the victim was at home in an apartment in Larkin, Johor Bahru.

They can also contact the investigating officer of the case Insp Salaihudin Azual Razali at +6013-7290763.
