A Malaysian who recently visited a restaurant in Glenmarie, Selangor, was upset when he was charged RM10 for pork rib rice with three measly pieces of meat
Taking to a Kuala Lumpur community Facebook group to vent his discontent, he said he saw a diner paying RM9 for claypot pork belly rice with salted fish, while he paid RM10 for his pork rib rice.
“Only three slices of meat! three slices of meat!” he exclaimed, adding, “The (two) middle pieces are considered one piece.”
“It’s not that I can’t afford it, (the restaurant) should not have overdone it. I was crying in my heart as I was eating it.”
The photo he uploaded shows four pieces of meat, with two being disproportionately smaller than the other pieces, a portion of rice, and some sauce.
There are no sesame toppings, or coriander and spring onion garnishes. Some lettuce as a side is also nowhere to be found on the plate.
