The restaurant, known as Roti Bar on Little Collins Street, claims they serve the finest Malaysian cuisine in the city and is looking to expand their team.
In an advertisement posted on the job portal Seek, the restaurant is offering between AUD60,000 and AUD65,000 (RM190,000 and RM205,000) annually for the full-time position.
That works out to about AUD5,400 (RM17,100) a month!
According to the ad, job requirements for potential candidates include:
– Must have experience in flipping roti canai
– Basic flipping skills is essential, but training will be provided to meet restaurant standards
– Able to work under pressure
– Responsible and able to take instructions
– Must have full working rights in Australia
Employee benefits include accommodation and staff meals, as well as being in a “stable organisation with long term employment” and a “sponsorship for qualified candidates”.
Besides making the “best roti in Melbourne”, candidates will also have much more to learn as Roti Bar also serves a whole menu of Malaysian fan-favourites such as banana leaf rice, nasi lemak, nasi biryani, seafood laksa, chicken satay, and more.
