The photo was uploaded by former Wangsa Maju MP Wee Choo Keong on Twitter on Monday.

“MP is taking gaji buta (sinecure). Shopping for clothes on Shopee or Lazada while the Parliament is ongoing!” claimed Wee.

“Parliament Malaysia boleh! Don’t you sympathise with the rakyat? Parliament has become a circus. Is this the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) disease?”

Meanwhile, former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak also took a jab at Kok, saying that a former DAP lawmaker was censuring a current DAP lawmaker.

“Maybe the former minister of oil palm was surveying to see if there is an increase in prices of import goods following the disturbance of the global transport sector?” said the Pekan MP.

Najib’s post was liked over 15,000 times on Facebook.

“While I was reading news on news portals, I saw the advertisement, so I clicked on the advertisement before backing out to continue reading the news,” she told Malaysiakini.

“The advertisement appeared on both Free Malaysia Today and Malaysiakini.”

She also shared a copy of the advertisement with Malaysiakini to prove her innocence.

Yesterday marked the first day of the Parliamentary sitting for the year, which will run until 24 March.
