The two-time world junior champion has submitted a letter of appeal to BAM over the latter’s decision to not register the 21-year-old for any international tournaments for two years after she quit the national body.
“I sent my appeal letter this morning. I’m ready to sit down and discuss this matter further (with BAM) and I hope to get this decision revoked,” The Star quoted Goh as saying today, 26 January.
The Vibes reported that the association received her appeal letter last night, 25 January.
“We will go through the necessary process,” Kenny was quoted as saying in the report.
Like Goh, Lee was also slapped with a two-year ban from international tournaments.
However, following public outcry, Lee said that Norza and he had a private meeting on Monday, following which the BAM president gave his “blessings” to Lee become a professional player.
The terms and conditions, if any, for the lifting of the ban on Lee has not been released.
