2. Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM)

Attractions: A good green getaway from the bustling city life, FRIM is a haven for nature lovers and cycling enthusiasts. It has approved a number of mountain bike trails, ranging from easy to hard – based on the terrain and surroundings.

4. Taman Wawasan Putrajaya
Where: Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur.

Attractions: Taman Wawasan cover almost 137 acres of land. It is a tranquil park with bicycle and jogging paths, lotus ponds, splendid views and even a pebble beach!
5. Kepong Metropolitan Park
Where: Kepong, Kuala Lumpur.

Attractions: The park is famous for its massive loop surrounding a lake that’s 3.3km long. The track in the park is flat and runs parallel to the cycling track.
6. Taman Botani Negara
Where: Taman Pertanian Malaysia, Shah Alam.

Attractions: Located in Shah Alam, Malaysia’s first agriculture park was opened to the public since 1986. The 1,295 hectare of tropical rain forest and agriculture park is one of the largest in the world. There are many gardens in this park waiting to be explored with a bicycle!
7. Trek Basikal Shah Alam
Where: Section 4, 5 and 14 in Shah Alam, Selangor.

Attractions: The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) has introduced bicycle lanes to connect those living in Section 4, 5 and 14. It is a great way to see the city as these lanes stretch around Shah Alam. The nearby Shah Alam Lake Garden also serves as a scenic pit stop.
8. Titiwangsa Lake Garden
Where: Jalan Kebun Bunga, Tasik Perdana, Kuala Lumpur.
How to get there: Located just beside the busy Jalan Tun Razak in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Titiwangsa Lake Garden is easily accessible through many highways. Google Maps directions here.

Attractions: Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, is an attractive and well-maintained park in Kuala Lumpur with a wide range of facilities and things to do for the whole family. The terrain is flat and there are no cars to worry about.
9. Putrajaya Botanical Garden
Where: Persiaran Sultan Sallahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Presint 1, Putrajaya, Selangor.
